SARASOTA, Fla., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — For years, Service Pros has served drivers and dealerships in Florida and South Carolina as the trusted go-to source for windshield replacements. Now, to better serve our customers, we also offer windshield repair for damage that qualifies under the industry’s national standard.
“Windshield repair is a new service for us, and it’s good news for our customers and the dealerships we serve,” says Bill Camp, Founder and CEO. “Now, when repair is the safe choice, we can offer it, with technicians trained to the industry’s national standard.“
Our repair guidelines follow the American National Standards Institute, which determines what damage can be safely repaired and how to repair it. When damage does not qualify for repair under that standard, and replacement is the appropriate remedy, we will recommend replacement. Windshield safety is why we exist. Windshields are not just a functional cosmetic feature; they are a safety component that helps protect everyone inside the vehicle. Federal safety standards govern the safety glazing used in windshields, and Florida law requires every motor vehicle on public roads to have safety glazing that meets those standards. We install windshields that meet those standards so our customers can drive safely, and now our repairs will meet those same standards.
We will use GlasWeld windshield repair equipment and resins. GlasWeld makes its repair equipment and resins in the United States, and distributes them worldwide. GlasWeld is widely regarded as a leader in windshield repair equipment, and it continues to develop new equipment as vehicles become more technically advanced.
